Plugging away

I don't have much to report about my training. I'm just plugging away - trying to balance work, exercise, friends, and family (basically just doing what we all try to do).

Meanwhile, my fundraising for the I Love the Tavern triathlon continues to progress quite nicely. I am now at 65% of my minimum goal. Woohoo! Thank you to my sister Siobhan (I know - isn't that a cool name?), my college buddy Karin, and the ever generous Kate O. Hugs to you and your families!

On a related note, I scored a great gift certificate to Cafe Caturra at last week's silent auction for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I also like to include drinking yummy wine as part of my balancing act. I am fairly skilled in that area.

I think it is time to adjust that goal up...

First, I need to hit the minimum...then I'll see about raising even more money for TNT. :)

You are doing great. Hope we do a tri or cycle event together in the next few years once I get a real bike.

I have always said, a good balancing act is a glass of wine in one hand and a workout dvd in the other! Regardless, we ARE very proud of what you're doing!
